A Kyle Update

Singing or being silly in the car. I am not too sure which it is.

Kyle is holding on to his "Build a Bear" workshop stuffed animal. Boyd took him to get a stuffed animal during October. They built a ghost and affectionately called it Casper. We often see Casper on the weekends. He is generally grooving to the music or acting out something Kyle has seen recently in the movies.

For those who aren't aware of the situation with Kyle, I will give you a brief update. Kyle,Boyd's son from a previous marriage, is 7 and a half and is in the second grade. He is full of tons of energy. We get to spend time with him every other Saturday and some holidays. We are easing into a more permanent schedule to help Kyle feel comfortable with me, Alisha, in the picture. So much has improved over the last year. I know Heavenly Father is aware of this little boy and his need to have his real father in his life. Some days have been challenging, but in the end we have lots of angels helping us make this transition easier for Kyle and even us. Everytime we spend a day with Kyle, we are exhausted. He keeps both Boyd and I on our toes. He is so much like his dad; it is crazy. He looks like him, acts like him, is independent like him, loves to sing like him, and even has a similar laugh. Spending time with Kyle gives me more insight to Boyd and his personality. We both look forward to spending time with him. The holiday season is so much fun. We get to spend more time than usual with Kyle. It is always so much fun to be a kid again when Kyle is with us.
