Two Month Appointment

Kaiya definitely loves Emma. It will be fun to see Emma showing the same kinda love in future months.

Today Kara and I went to the doctor together. Emma had her two month check up and Kaiya her 18 month check up. It was so fun to go together. This was my first experience with dealing with a baby after being immunized. Like all babies, Emma cried and snuggled immediately following the shots in her thighs. She did great.

Emma now weighs 9 pounds and 4 ounces. I know this is small for 2 months. In fact she is in the 13th percentile. She has become taller though. Now she is 23 inches instead of 20.5. So, she is a healthy girl, just a bit underweight. The advice from the doctor was keep feeding her.
