Laynie found the perfect spot to get lost in a book

On Monday the 10th of August, Boyd's brother, Kenny, his wife Charlotte, daughters Annie and Holly and four of their grankids, Jaycee, Jordan, Laynie, and Brooklyn came by. I was really excited to host a family in our home for the first time. They decided to stop by on their way to Lake Powell. Emma was in heaven with more people to play with. She had more attention than she knew what to do with. It was fun to watch Emma interact with other children.

They stayed the night which made for a great excuse to make Brownie Trifle and the pistachio cool whip salad again. YUM! The next morning they were off to their vacation spot. We are so glad they came to visit and I am especially glad we played 1/2 a game of Mexican Train. It was a perfect addition to the family reunion we all left just a day ago.
