Things went so smoothly on Friday with Kyle, so we decided to reward his behavior by taking him to a video arcade. Everyone shared the tokens to play games. Altogether, Kyle and Boyd won 509 tickets. Emma won 75 tickets on her first game. It was a game of chance where you push a button and wherever the ball landed determines how many tickets you win. She landed in the 75 ticket slot. Go Emma!
This game is where a lizard sticks out his tongue to kill the bugs. You control the tongue with a button. Emma just pushed the button. Truthfully, we should have let her play without tokens because she doesn't really care or understand how to win. She did love the bright lights and music in the arcade.
Here is her 75 ticket toy. It is a glowing octopus. It bounces and Emma loved it!
When we are not out and about, this is a common sight for our house. Emma is getting really good at taking out all of the items in the drawers. Daily, I put these items away at least 3 times.

Emma seems a lot like Miriam (my 17-month-old daughter) in how she's so active, playful, and hard to get smiley pictures of. :-) They're so cute, though, when they're discovering new things and places!
I think it's neat that Emma lets you put headbands and bows in her hair. Miriam pulls everything off even before it's fastened to her hair, it's a bit frustrating. Especially since I have so many cute accessories for her!
BTW, congratulations on being almost half way through your pregnancy!
