This is the scene I saw after Emma was gated in her room for a while. She dumped out all of her dirty clothes, dumped out her diapers, pulled all the books off her shelf, and crushed crackers in the floor. Boyd had just sprayed for bugs inside and outside of the house. He didn't want Emma to get into this, so we gated her in her room. I guess she didn't like the idea. Believe me, this picture doesn't do it justice. It looked like a pig sty.
Last weekend we went up to Boyd's family's place. He had a niece's daughter getting baptized. We barely made it due to construction. Afterward, we went to Jill's place and ate lunch. We ended up staying really late. It was so fun. We played games, talked, rode the 4 wheeler, played the Wii, and played some basketball. It was a great weekend.
Emma discovered just how fun kittens can be.
Emma loved one kitten, but two was even better. Yes, one of the kittens is upside down. (Poor little critters)
She loved that little kitty. She carried it around everywhere she went. She treated it like a baby doll.
Emma, Jensen, Ellie
Daddy took Emma for a ride on the 4 wheeler. She loved it, but was also a little scared.
Emma chillin' in a little lawn chair.
Emma learned how to ride a wooden horse.
This twisty toy plays music when you push the buttons on the top. Emma loved playing with this.
We also celebrated Kyle's birthday last weekend. We had cake, ice cream and presents. It was super fun! Kyle will be 10 on the 12th of June.
There was a definite theme to Kyle's birthday this year. Can you guess what it was?
Boyd made the Iron Man icing on the cake. I can only take credit for how the cake tasted.
Kyle received a helmet, chest piece, and arm gear. Everyone enjoyed being Iron Man for a bit.
Emma loves Iron Man. It is a word in her vocabulary because of her brother's obsession.
Hanging out during the day
