Boo At the Zoo

We decided to go to the Boo at the Zoo with Kara and Kaiya. It was a special Halloween section of the zoo filled with carnival games, trick or treating, and a craft.

We opted to go as a fairy. We figured this was simple enough. I can only handle one night of going all out on Halloween costumes.

Ellie became tuckered out in the middle of the day. It was good to have a stroller.

At the end of the carnival they had a pumpkin craft where they would decorate pumpkins with markers.

Emma was trying to pose, but her mouth was full of something gooey.

While Kara stayed with the bigger girls, I took Ellie to the toddler section. It was fun to watch her get into the games.

We also went to a live show about some animals. The Zoo workers would walk around carrying the animals so we could get a great look at the owls, opossoms, boa constrictors, and other animals.

We also enjoyed the regular zoo animals on this fun Friday with Kara and Kaiya. Kara told me how fun feeding the birds was and we were game for this experience. Ellie and Emma loved trying to catch a bird on their popsicle stick.

Emma is concentrating so hard on getting a bird to jump on her feeding stick.

Kaiya was so enthralled in these birds and Kaiya helped her learn how to be quiet around the birds.
