Ellie Turns 2!!!

This little sassy gal turned two on Monday the 20th. of February.
It is amazing how fast time has gone with her and how much Ellie has changed in 1 year. Two main things are, she has teeth and some hair now!! At one, she was bald and toothless.
Don't you just want to kiss those sweet lips!
I taught her how to say two, and she is getting better at it.
We had the local family over, for some presents, cake and ice cream.

Sisters
Chandler and Ellie
Uncle David and Ellie
Aunt Chanda gave Ellie the cutest finger puppet books. We read all 4 of them for bedtime and Ellie wanted to use her finger to tell the story.
Furry Frenzies
Ellie loves playing with this at Kaiya's house
Oma gave Ellie a fun breakfast toy. The food is made of felt and the banana even comes out of its cloth peel. it is adorable. Now she can make her own pancakes.
Noahs Ark
With Emma, in Primary, her level of understanding has increased. So, I thought this was the perfect time to get Little People Noah's Ark. I love Little People toys! They are so cute and durable. So, now we can not only play with all the animals, but we can use it to teach the girls many lessons during FHE.
Minnie mouse snap on wardrobe
Zoobles, a recent favorite
More Furry Frenzies
To save on cost, I wanted to make Ellie's birthday cake. It is Minnie Mouse. Thankfully my sister Chanda was over on Saturday to help me decorate the cake. I think it turned out really cute!
Blowing out the candle
Funny Story: I was trying to teach Ellie how to blow out the candle and I blew it out in the process. It was rather embarrassing.
It sure tasted yummy!!!
Happy Birthday Ellie!

Things about Ellie at 2
She is extremely independent, "I do it!" is commonly used phrase for her.
She loves babies and will carry them around all day.
She loves hugs and still snuggles in my arms.
Her vocabulary and ability to create sentences has increased dramatically.
She loves to sing and dance to nursery songs and other action songs.
She wants to be just as independent as Emma.
She smiles really big before she does something she knows Mom won't like.
She enjoys putting her shoes on the best was she knows how and then will unlace them to get them off to her mother's dismay.
She refuses to use a high chair and likes to sit at the big table at mealtimes.
She loves to play with her toys: Zoobles, princesses, pet shops, little people, and babies
She can climb out of her crib finally.
She goes potty first thing in the morning in her potty chair. ( that is all for now)
She gets excited when people come over and she shouts their name before hugging them.
She is a great helper at cleaning up.
She loves to eat fruit snacks, grapes, blueberries, and suckers.
She still cries so hard that she will pass out.
She loves to watch Yo Gabba, Bubble Guppies, and Olivia.
She likes to roll the ball to her sister.
If you tick her off real good she has two defenses: biting, and pulling hair.( Emma is the only one who gets this treatment)

We sure love our Ellie Mei! She has brought so much laughter and snuggles to our life. We look forward to watching her grow even more!
