December at A Glance

The month of December was fast and furious for our little family.  I was busy packing up so we could move back to Utah.  Eventhough we were not in Texas for all of December, Oma made sure the girls didn't miss out on anything.

Oma, let the girls put up a little tree in their bedroom.  This way, they could decorate and undecorate the tree without breaking ornaments.  The Girls were beyond thrilled to help decorate for Christmas.

My Grannie came down to Tx, for the Holidays.  It was good to see her.  The girls are just starting to figure out that Grannie is Oma's Mommy.

We went to visit Granie, Karen, and Vicki one day after church.  It was great to spend time with family.  Aunt Karen and sassy pants Ellie

I made sure we still had a countdown calendar during the month of December.  This was super fun for the girls.  Each day the girls would take turns opening a present for that day.  Mosly they received litlle toys or beauty items.
Just days before we moved back to Utah.  Emma had a pre-school December party.  So, we went.  Emma sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph with her classmates at the beginning.
Then, we went on to the activity.  The girls loved decorating cookies here.
Porter was a champ and just chilled.
 hard at work
Of course the girls had to sample their creations.  They had no complaints.
 Emma sure loves her brother.
Our last night in TX, we had the Owen family come over for a last little hang out.  Here the kids are watching TV together.
It just happened to be Porter's 4 month b-day.  Here he is at 4 months.
Once in Utah, we moved in with my friend Michelle.  Her husband and her wanted the girls to have a tree for Christmas, so the first night we were there, the girls helped decorate the tree.  I almost cried.  I was so touched by this gesture.

The week before Christmas, we went to our niece Crystal's wedding reception.  Following it, we went to see Aunt Bonnie.  The girls had so much fun having a tea party and playing in this greent tub.

Shelly carried this tub around and she also pushed the girls around in it.  They had so much fun with her.

 Christmas Morning
Santa gave Emma a V-Reader with four different games.
Ellie was given Woodzees families and a cottage for the families to live in.
The girls had a magical Christmas full of presents, candy, and little surprised in their stockings.
Porter was not forgotten this year.  He also had toys from Santa.
I love this car toy.  It holds all the small cars on the inside and opens up to reveal a little car track.
Emma was curious if Porter was given candy in his stocking.  Nah, just some fun cars from Mickey Mouse's Racetrack.
Porter enjoyed being able to play with his new toys.
Ellie also wanted to play with his toys, but more than anything, she wanted to help Porter play with his toys.
So many sweet moments watching these two play
Emma was not going to let Ellie have all the fun with Porter.

 Woodzees
The kids were enthralled with all their toys all day long.
The rest of December we just hung out.  Emma just cannot get enough of her Baby Brother.
 Ellie and her favorite baby!
Even Kyle came over for 5 days to spend some holiday time with us.  It was crazy and fun!
The month of December was very busy for our family.  We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful place to spend Christmas and the rest of December in Utah.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  So, now we look forward to many new things in the year of 2013
