Halloween Carnival

Tanya sent some of Alexis' clothes to us. This was one of my favorite outfits. Boyd kept asking why our daughter had a tutu on. Answer: It is cute!

She is a crawler.

On Friday night, my really good friend told me about a free carnival at a local elementary. So, we decided to go. When we arrived, the kids were given a bag with a ticket stapled on the outside. They had 16 stamps to use up in the games. The lines were kind of long, but the activities were fun. They had basketball throwing, pick your treasure, bowling, bean bag toss, toss rings on the pumpkin stem, pick your ducky, fishing for treasures and much more. Inside they had pizza, drinks, and BYU brownies. So, we waited in several lines for a while, then we went in bought some dinner. Afterwards, we hit the lines again for the last of the activities. All in all it was a great time and for FREE! Both Emma and Kyle came home with lots of candy and trinkets.

Little Ellie looked so cute in her costume. The best thing about it was it was so warm and cozy.

Here we are at the Carnival. Kyle must be at the age where it isn't cool to dress up anymore. He refused to dress up. The girls, however, did not have choice.

Emma doesn't quite get the concept of playing basketball. She walked it in each of the three times. Everyone thought the chicken was so cute. She still was able to pick out 6 pieces of candy.

Here we have the candy monster. She whined and whined for candy, candy, candy. Unfortunately for her, she picked out gum. She has never had gum and I am not going to let her start now. So, I had to search her loot for something other than gum. She loved the taffy and smarties.
