Precious face!
Ellie has an infatuation with cups! She just loves to hold them and chew on them as well.
Ellie has been taken over by all of Emma's books. You can see how important it is to keep a close eye on these two when they are "playing" together. Thankfully Emma did not injure Ellie at this time.
Sept. 25th, Ellie's first day to sit up on her own.
Emma loved all the surprises from Oma. Behind her she has her loot. I have loved dressing her up cutsy for the month.
Emma is checking out her adorable Halloween clips.
Oh the prize beads. Emma wore these around proudly all night long. Everyday since, I can always find the beads out and about adorning her outfit.
Both girls scored a few pjs. Ellie doesn't quite get the purpose of them yet, but she sure loved chewing on the package.
Oma always gives great holiday gifts for the girls. Here they are ravaging through the good stuff. Emma and Ellie both love the beads.
Our Halloween Girls ( Ellie is sitting up on her own)
Emma is in a big girl toddler bed. We have had some interesting nights. She has fallen out a few times and now can join us in our bed in the middle of our sleep. It has been 3 nights and things are getting smoother with this transition.
Ellie is still doing the inch worm like crawl. She is getting faster though. She is quite determined to get to what has seemed to capture her attention.
She found a book
Ellie seems to enjoy the new area. She really likes books on her level. We must not leave her alone, though cause she has shown interest in cords lately.
I love this dress. Emma looked like a doll. Thanks Oma for the cutest dress!
So after talking about making a change for a bit, Boyd and I decided it was time to adjust our room situation. Emma and Ellie just seemed way crammed in the other bedroom. So, Daddy painted the walls white so the girls could move in. I love it. Well, Ellie was there only a few days when we realized Emma loved to throw her toys on top of Ellie. So, now Ellie sleeps in the other room but we still have her clothes, toys, and diapers in there. So, it is her room, but right now it is not safe to have Emma toss Handy Manny tools on Ellie's head.
So sometimes, the girls can chill together.
Emma is becoming a little to self sufficient. Today we found her in the kitchen digging in to a delicious snack. Well, I wouldn't eat it, but I am not 2. She grabbed her spoon, and pulled the container of tomato sauce out of the refrigerator. She opened it and dug in.
Our 2 year old has new stats
35 inches - 75%

Emma is looking so grown up now that she is two. She looks like a little girl and not a toddler. You didn't tell me that you switched Emma into a toddler bed. Just that you changed rooms. Aren't Oma's goodie bags the best! I love all the holiday outfits and pj's!
